Privacy policy — Negocian Open app

Last updated: 15 October 2026 (the French version prevails)

The Negocian Open app (Android, identifier fr.negocian.open) lets a supplier's business customers browse its catalogue, prepare orders, send them to their basket and view their customer account (orders, invoices, documents) from their phone.

This policy describes the data the app uses, where it is kept and how to erase it.

1. Who is responsible

  • App publisher: Dixital, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €15,515, 3 rue Ferdinand de Lesseps, 33700 Mérignac, France, SIREN 814 446 902 (Bordeaux trade register). Contact: hello@dixital.fr or our contact form (DPO). The publisher provides the app; it receives no personal data through the app.
  • Your supplier (the shop you link the app to) is responsible for the data of your customer account: the app only displays it and sends it to the supplier. Its own privacy policy applies to that data; please contact the supplier first.
  • When the supplier's shop is hosted by the publisher, the publisher acts on the supplier's behalf, as a processor, following its instructions.

2. What the app doesn't do

  • No advertising, no audience measurement, no advertising trackers.
  • No data sent to any third party other than your supplier's shop.
  • No location, no access to the phone's contacts, photos or files, no sound recording.
  • No account with the publisher: the app has no account of its own.

3. Data used

3.1 Linking the app to a shop

To link the app, you scan a QR code or open a link provided by your supplier (from your customer account or in an invitation e-mail). For an invitation, you are asked for a password and, if the shop requires it, a second factor.

When linking, the app sends the shop:

DataPurpose
Phone name (the name set in the phone's settings, or else its model)Letting you and the supplier recognise the phone in the list of linked devices
System (Android) and app versionCompatibility and support

For each linked phone, the shop records: this information, the account and company concerned, the truncated IP address (network part only: the last digits are removed), the dates of linking and last use, and any unlinking. The linking code and the phone token are never kept in clear by the shop (only a fingerprint is).

3.2 Using the app

Once linked, the app exchanges with the shop, on behalf of your customer account and company: catalogue, scanned barcodes, lines sent to the basket, orders, invoices, documents and quotes, outstanding balance, baskets awaiting approval, contact details of your sales representative and branch. This is the data of your customer account on the supplier's website; the app collects nothing more.

A phone left unused for the period set by the supplier (90 days by default; the supplier can change or disable it) automatically loses access to the shop.

3.3 Camera

The camera is only used to read the linking QR code and product barcodes. Images are analysed on the phone, at the time of the scan: no photo or video is saved or sent. Permission is requested on first use; you can refuse it and type the link instead.

4. Data kept on the phone

DataWhereWhy

Opened PDFs (invoices, documents)App's cache, cleared by the system when neededDisplay in your PDF reader

This data stays in the app's private storage; the app does not back it up elsewhere. An opened PDF is passed to the PDF reader you choose, which may keep a copy as it sees fit.

When you open your basket from the app, the supplier's website is shown in an in-app browser, already signed in for a limited time; it then sets its own cookies, governed by the website's policy.

5. Security

All exchanges with the shop are encrypted (https). The access token is specific to each phone; it can be revoked at any time, by you or by the supplier, without affecting your other devices or your password.

6. Retention and erasure

  • Unlinking a shop (in the app): erases from the phone the token, catalogue, “My list”, customer account data and photos of that shop, and revokes the phone with the shop. PDFs already opened stay in the app's cache until the system clears it or the app is uninstalled.
  • Unlinking a phone from the website (customer account → Mobile app) or by the supplier: the phone loses access to the shop.
  • Uninstalling the app: erases all data kept on the phone.
  • The information kept by the shop about the linked phone (section 3.1) is retained according to the supplier's policy.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. For your customer account data, contact your supplier; for any question about the app itself: hello@dixital.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

8. Children

The app is intended for professionals and is not designed for children.

9. Changes

This policy may change with the app; the date of the last update is shown at the top. A significant change will be announced in the app or on its Google Play listing.
